McArthurGlen Ochtrup Designer Outlet is both a beautiful place to visit and a great place to shop. The centre of the outlet is a former building of the Gebruder Laurenz textile company, built back in 1893. It features neo-classical architecture that was popular back in the Renaissance period with a combination of brick and glass adding charm to the shopping experience in Ochtrup.
McArthurGlen Ochtrup houses over 100 brands in its traditional-looking stores, reminiscent of the historical buildings in Munster each offering 30-70 percent off the original prices on a wide range of clothing brands, household goods, shoes, accessories, and sportswear. Top brand names available in the centre include Bugatti, Adidas, Nike, Converse, Jack Jones, Lacoste, Pierre Cardin and Tom Tailor.
The centre is also popular with children because of the free ’Kletterburg’ (Climbing Frame’) play area with climbing frames and activities for children from 4 to 12 years old under the of trained personnel. For those arriving in the outlet centre with e-bikes, there are free charging stations at Laurenz Genusswerkstatt, plus plenty of parking spaces available for conventional vehicles.
McArthurGlen Ochtrup Designer Outlet also offers a diverse culinary experience with its various restaurants and cafés. There’s Laurenz for international cuisine, Frooters for a fruity afternoon snack, La Passione that offers the many flavours of Italy, McDonald’s and McCafe for a quick fast food fix, and Alice Premium Doner, home of many Turkish specialties.
